16 actors. 9 locations. 6 films.
The creative studio at Mother Brown Films, and the Xerox marketing team in the US, recently created a series of films together for Xerox’s Set The Page Free – a global campaign showcasing Xerox’s state-of-the-art comms technology – all for a US audience.
From an app that can instantly translate a page of text, to hardware that can produce personalised marketing material, the creative brains at Mother Brown were tasked with writing and directing a narrative film for six individual pieces of Xerox technology.
When do you use the tech? In what instances is it essential? And how can this tech change the way you run your business? All questions answered by the films…
Using Mother Brown’s light, warm, human touch in the creative, the studio brought on brilliant DOP Jeremy Hewson (TV credits here) to shoot all six films and to lend them a sense of continuity. Mother Brown enlisted fantastic actors based in the UK, and Kevin Brown took on directing and editing duties.
Timings were tight. Mother Brown created, scripted, cast, shot and delivered the first three films in just four weeks.
The US audience for the films meant added pressure: MB searched for UK-based, US talent; sourced US-looking locations where appropriate, and created stories that a US audience would specifically connect with.
It was a privilege for UK based Mother Brown Films to work in tandem with Xerox’s US marketing team to create these films specifically for the US.
They’re funny, they’re dramatic, and they’re informative.
